How To Make Delectable Brownies In A Snap

A great way to end any meal is by having a mouth-watering dessert. But if you got a hectic schedule, it’s important that you can whip up a dessert in a snap. You will need 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 medium egg, 1 stick of butter and a pack of instant cake mix. You will also need 1/2 cup of cocoa powder and 1 cup of peanuts that are chopped coarsely. Since the goal is to make a dessert in a snap, you will only need a countertop microwave oven for baking! Once you have set everything, the stick of butter should first be melted. Put it in a small bowl, chop it into tiny pieces, and use a paper towel to cover the bowl. Place it in the microwave and heat for 5-10 seconds. Stir and repeat heating until the butter is completely melted.

Put the melted butter into a large mixing bowl. Add the cake mix, brown sugar, cocoa powder and egg. Mix them all with the use of electric beaters for 1 to 2 minutes. It should turn into the consistency of a thick cake batter. Add the peanuts and blend into the mixture using only a baking spoon.

With a cooking spray, grease the pan then carefully transfer the mixture into it with the help of a large spoon. Simply follow the microwaving instructions printed at the back of the packaging of the cake mix. If your microwave oven doesn’t have a turntable, rotate the cake pan every 2-3 minutes for even baking of all sides of the cake.

To test if it’s done, poke a toothpick or a tiny skewer into the center of the baked brownies. If it comes out without anything sticking to it, it’s done! Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. If you wish for it to cool quicker, place it on a cooling rack. You can later on cut the brownies into small squares before serving.

You can even use this very same recipe in making a delectable chocolate cake by simply using round cake pans. Once cooled, place a large plate on top and turn upside down to transfer the baked goodie. Use ready-made frosting in chocolate or vanilla flavor to completely cover it. Decorate with chopped chocolate chips, marshmallows and the like.

I file online restaurant menus in my desktop computer. I post a few from my favorite restaurants around my computer workstation desk. They may not be within walking distance of my job but they are within reach of my bicycle.

People who know about my affectionate relationship with fantastic food ask how I stay so fit. I am a bit of a health nut that loves the taste and smell of a well prepared meal. This can be a problem when you work downtown and have a sixty minute lunch break.

I have learned how to eliminate the parking and traffic challenges that make it nearly impossible to eat or exercise. The midday break is short. The time crunch can create stress.

I use my bicycle to travel to a number of cafes near my office. There are other diamondback bikes secured to the rack in front of our building. I possess a nice ride just a few feet from the front door.

Some of the small cafes feature a signature dish from private chefs in the area. I eat a splendid meal and burn off the calories on my bike. Traffic and parking are not a problem.

I can go farther than I did when I would walk to lunch. The extended range means I have a bigger selection of meals. Riding the bike means that I am exercising my heart, lungs, and cardio-vascular systems.

I have a matching backpack to my bike. I could use a wire basket but prefer the secure pack to carry my leftover food and other items. My beverage bottles are snug on the outside trap holders.

I no longer feel sluggish in the afternoon. I am invigorated after a special meal and a solid restaurant ride on the bicycle. I eat better, look better, and feel better after burning off calories.

Our company is now offering additional bike racks and free bike locks to riders. They know that incentives work and healthier employees are better producers.

My lunchtime routine is a delicious departure from stressful driving and parking problems. I enjoy terrific meals and improve my health without breaking a sweat. This is a calorie burning combination that may work well for you.

My house is rather more contemporary, so when I considered ways of furnishing my living room (something I had been advised was ‘up to me’) I declined the steam punk concept. It was only at the Renaissance that, finding ancient sculpture removed of their paint by time, the sculptors thought they had originally been white marble, and set out to emulate them.   In antiquity the Greeks believed in living breathing Gods;their statues were colored brightly in order to indicate that. Although we appreciate the awesome craftsmanship of the Parthenon statues the ancients adored their realistic quality so much so that it was said that at certain times during the day it was like the gods in their friezes actually moved. The statues and painting techniques were made to come together and boost the three dimensional quality of the stone, bringing the subject to life. Archaeologist Vinzenz Brinkmann is working hard to analyse ancient statues and create authentic reproductions. These, complete with intricate paint techniques and pigments are as near as it can be to those found in ancient times and the final results are intriguing; the ancient world won’t ever seem the same again.

What exactly should I do? I could decide on traditional Greek wall art that will create a modern room, making my choice on the basis of meaning. Hercules wrestling the lion could remind me that even if my todo list is a tad long, it’s not the Labours of Hercules, while Dionysus on a donkey would certainly point out to me the point of work is to finance the fun to come. As an inhabitant of the ” new world ” I could decide on Mayan wall reliefs, but I believe my selection could be more ancient still. From Ramses who drove out the Hittites at the Battle of Kadesh, to the concept of Maat,  goddess of justice and order, the wall sculptures of the Ancient Egyptians hold a never-ending captivation. We’re more accustomed to color when it comes to Egypt, and therefore observe these more as they really were, vivid and extraordinary in the desert sunlight.  Egyptian decor could definitely work.

For my Bedroom the main choice is clear; Thoth, the god of writing and wisdom, to help keep me right at all times!
