The Real Top Mexican Dishes

I will admit to saying that Mexican food is my favourite kind of food out there and I have yet to try a dish from the country that I do not like. I learnt how to make many dishes when out on my Mexico holidays and here is what I would serve up at a dinner party if I was doing a Mexican theme.

Chilaquiles

This dish is very traditional when it comes to Mexico and they are very similar to the “American” version but the beans and cheese are taken away and you have the tortillas, green or red salsa with a nice bit of shredded chicken and warm sour cream. This works very well indeed for a starter to a Mexican night.

Nachos

For the people that like their less traditional nachos I would serve up the Tex-Mex variety. These consist of beef, plenty of cheese, beans, guacamole, sour cream and tomato salsa. To add a bit of a Mexican element to the dish I will make it very spicy.

Fajitas

Although these are not very often found in Mexico they are a great Mexican dish and I would most certainly serve these up for dessert. The great thing about these is that you can put whatever you want into the tortilla wrap, chicken, steak, prawns, whatever you like!. The best thing to mix in with the meats are mixed peppers and onions along with your sour cream and guacamole.

You have to finish the meal off with a traditional Mexican dessert really and I would most likely have to be the orange flavoured fired bananas.

Vacation

If you have never been on one of those holidays to Mexico then I really would recommend that you go and this is simply because it is a stunning place with lots of amazing dishes to try and bring home with you. Failing this why not try one of those Dubai holidays?

Thoughts On A Great Family Christmas

When that time of year comes around again and the weather starts to get colder as the winter season arrives, your thoughts may well once again turn to that wonderful festive time of year - Christmas. But what are the ingredients that make a great family Christmas? what is fundamental to ensure that the family has a great time.

The first thing you could consider is whether or not you are going to stay at home or head off on vacation. Do you want a nice festive traditional time in the snow, or would you prefer to enjoy Chirstmas day lying on a sun lounger by a pool overlooking a beautiful blue sea and white sand?

Secondly, how many guests are you looking to have? if you have a small family then a bit of extended family either at your house or theirs is fundamental. Christmas is all about seeing family at the end of the day. If you have a large family however, then chances are you will be hosting a Christmas day event, and having a few family and possibly friends over is a great idea.

One of the common themes of Christmas is the giving and receiving of gifts, and most important to consider are any young children that you might have running about your ankles all day.

For the kids particularly its important to get something they will really enjoy. For babies perhaps some baby bath toys for them to play with or some cars transformers for the younger kids to play with. Try not to get anything too boring like a black helmet for your kid with a bike. You want to be looking to get things that are fun and can be played with, not anything too practical.

Another important tradition is the big meal. Whatever sort of food you serve, whether its traditional Christmas dinner with the turkey and Christmas pudding or something more alternative, the key to it all is having a wonderful time with your loves one.

However you choose to enjoy your own Christmas, the most important thing to remember is what it all represents and to enjoy the time you can with the people closest to you.

Having An Argument With The Wife?

At some point in our lives we have all had our partners slightly annoyed with us for something ,it has to be a fact of life surely. If I am being honest here I have to say that 9 times out of 10 they have a good reason. On the other hand everyone does something wrong at some point in their lives but whenever a woman seems to do it you don’t tend to make as much of a big thing out of it right?

Trying to make it up to her if you have done somethign wrong is always a good idea, if you dont it will just carry on.

Traditional Means

The following are the ways that you can get into the good books and you really cannot go wrong with these methods at all.

Chocolates are a really good item to buy if your partner is a bit upset with you but mind you do not just pop into the local supermarket and by their own brand. You really need to pick out something carefully. Try to go for something that is at least over £10 and go for something she likes not just something that has a big price and seems fancy.

flower can say a lot of things which is why it is something else that many women like to get as a make up present. Again do not go for the cheap options, get some flower delivery service to make it seem like a big thing even though it may not cost a lot. Go for a decent florist to get the best results.

Other Means

There are so many women out there that do not like either chocolates or flowers because they think them as a bit cheesy. There are so many other ways in which you could say sorry to her, a trip away perhaps or just taking her out for a meal, you could even just be a man and sit down and say sorry, it saves a lot of money. This does sometimes work.
